Baseball Season

Brock thinking that he is a big boy by sitting by all the players getting ready to bat.

Braden loves to fight for the ball and then when he wins, getting to throw the ball to first base.

Braden was playing first base here and throwing the ball home.

What a great little hitter go Braden.

Surprise Happy 30th Birthday Dan!

So this year was the big 30 for Dan. So I threw a surprise Birthday party for him. I was glad to know that he really had no idea that I was giving him a party.

I bought confetti poppers to shoot off when he walked in and Braden and Alex couldn't stop shooting them at him. They loved it.

Thanks for everyone that came we had a good turn out.

Easter

Braden was so excited to go see what the Easter Bunny left him that we had to wake up Brock.

There baskets full of candy and toys all a boy needs. Braden insisted that we leave out some carrots for the Bunny. He left a little bit behind.

Dan insists that we have an Easter egg hunt the morning of Easter, with the eggs we colored. I'm just not used to that, I didn't do that growing up.

Easter Egg Hunt

They had there baskets and were ready to go.

Our great friends the Fawcett's hosted a great Easter Egg Hunt party.

Braden went crazy finding as many as he could.

Brock started to get the idea the more he found.

But he had to take a few breaks in between finding the eggs to check them out and see what was inside, and oh man did he loved what he found inside of them. Chocolate!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Braden always loves it when Easter comes around to color the eggs.

This was the first year we let Brock join in on the fun.

This year we got a Easter egg painting kit. Braden loved it.

Painting!

I'm a little bit tired of painting my house, but I'm on the last two rooms. Yesterday I painted from 10 in the morning until 1 at night. I was up until 2 the night before. Who knows how late it will be tonight. I'm hoping it will be done tonight. Keeping my fingers crossed. I'll post pictures when I'm done. Next project is to tackle the remodel of the bathrooms, then the lawn. It's going to be a busy summer.
